This program enhances the practice of nephrology in the developing world by linking emerging renal units with established centers of excellence in the developed world. Educational Ambassadors Program (EAP): deadline October 1st, 2013

ISN Educational Ambassadors provide specific hands-on training in emerging centers. Clinical Research and Prevention Program: deadline: October 1st, 2013

In the context of its call for proposals on “Non-communicable chronic disease prevention programs in developing countries”, the Research and P committee can provide seed funding (up to 15,000 USD) for a number of projects awarded on a competitive basis in two rounds every year. Fellowship Program: deadline December 15, 2013

This program provides relevant and contemporary nephrological training to physicians from emerging countries, with the ultimate goal of improving the standards in the Fellows’ home countries upon their return and becoming leaders in their fields.

ISN Fellows receive hands-on training in advanced host institutions, allowing them to acquire state-of-the-art knowledge in basic and clinical nephrology, dialysis, transplantation, and epidemiology. The training focuses on providing the exact skills and knowledge specifically required by the home institution. CLICK HERE for more information.

Continuing Medical Education Program

Every year this program brings essential teaching and training to some 14,000 doctors and healthcare practitioners in the emerging world. Organized between the ISN program Chair, the event organizers and the regional committees, these courses establish a suitable scientific program developed to meet the needs of the local nephrology community.
