Provide Your Input: Complete a Survey on Fluid Management Practices in Kidney Replacement Therapy Patients

Fluid removal is a principal component of the kidney replacement therapy (KRT) prescription. However, there is a lack of high-quality evidence to guide fluid balance management in this context.

The Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), Montreal, Canada, is conducting a survey to learn more about the attitudes and practice patterns of intensivists and nephrologists in the management of fluid balance among critically ill patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) who are receiving KRT. The Health Research Ethics Board at the CHUM has approved this survey.

Complete the CHUM survey here by December 15, 2021.

The main aim of the survey is to understand current practice and inform the design of future clinical trials that will assess optimal fluid management strategies for critically ill patients receiving KRT.
