Participate in the 0by25 global snapshot study
ISN is launching a major cross-sectional study with enrollment and follow up of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) patients around the world. The web-based prospective data collection will be conducted over a period of three weeks in the third quarter of 2014.
The overall objective of the Global Snapshot is to gather prospective data, leverage local resources and expertise, and implement ‘need driven’ approaches to fighting AKI globally.
The Global Snapshot will aim to establish incidence of AKI in different settings around the world over a three week period, compare risk factors, etiologies, diagnosis, management and outcomes of AKI in different countries and determine resources available for recognizing non-dialytic and dialytic management and follow up of patients with AKI in different settings and countries.

We will soon be contacting interested stakeholders in the next few weeks to prepare for this global endeavor.
The Global Snapshot is one of the key activities of the ISN 0by25 Initiative. The 0by25 Initiative, inspired by ISN President Giuseppe Remuzzi, calls for globally applicable strategies that permit a timely diagnosis of AKI and provide access to renal replacement therapy for patients with potentially reversible diseases.
