Focus on nephrology in Hungary at the Budapest Nephrology School
A distinguished panel of international speakers took part in the latest edition of the Budapest Nephrology School – an ISN endorsed meeting organized by the Hungarian Society of Nephrology.
This year’s course provided updates in nephrology, hypertension, dialysis, nephropathology and transplantation.
Laszlo Rosivall comments: “We devoted a whole day to discussing what is most important in nephrology practice. Participants were encouraged to present their posters, raise questions and consult other colleagues on problematic cases. We also arranged to visit quality dialysis and research units.”
To make the course as interactive as possible, Dr. Rosivall also mentioned the importance of organising “Meet the Professor” and poster discussion sessions.
Almost 80 participants from 23 countries joined the course, including Eastern and Central Europe, South and East Asia, the Middle-East and New Zealand. Local faculty took part in talks, with a dozen speakers stemming from abroad.
