2018 Homer Smith Award
Congratulations to Amin Arnaout, who has recently been selected to receive the 2018 Homer Smith Award of the American Society of Nephrology. Amin was an ISN Councillor from 2001 to 2009.
Amin is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Physician and Chief Emeritus, Division of Nephrology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Principal Investigator, Harvard Stem Cell Institute. The Homer Smith Award is presented annually to an individual who has made outstanding contributions which fundamentally affect the science of nephrology. So this is a great and fitting honor for Amin.
