‘Perspectives of Nephrology: The Pandemic and Beyond’ – the ISN Joint Session at SLANH 2021
The XIX SLANH Congress 2021 will take place virtually from June 23-26, 2021, and includes pre-congress courses, Industry Symposia, abstract presentations, live plenary conferences, and live and on-demand thematic talks.
The ISN and SLANH (Latin America Society of Nephrology and Hypertension) will jointly present the session, ‘Perspectives of nephrology: the pandemic and beyond’ on June 24 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Panama time.
The session includes a talk from ISN President Agnes Fogo:
‘Global Potential and Obstacles for Achieving Kidney Health,’
and Vivek Jha:
‘Kidney Health and the Next Pandemic – How Should We Respond to Environment Change?’
The SLANH President, Alejandro Ferreiro Fuentes, will present the talk,
‘Future Challenges for Latin American Nephrology: Connecting Public Policies and Kidney Care, Shared with the Patient.’
Argentinian Pablo Ulises Massari will receive the ISN 2021 Pioneer Award for Latin America to conclude the session.
