ISN Collective-Member Societies: The Estonian Society of Nephrology
The Estonian Society of Nephrology (ESN) will participate in the Raising-the-Curtain sessions for the ISN Eastern and Central Europe Region at WCN’21 on Tuesday, April 13, at 6 .a.m. EDT (convert to your time zone here).
The ISN has enjoyed a constructive collaboration with the ESN since 1995, notably supporting the biannual Baltic Nephrology Societies conference, which takes place in rotation in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, through the ISN CME Program.
Mai Rosenberg, President of the Estonian Society of Nephrology, reports that during the pandemic, many ESN members took advantage of the C19 Space course program developed by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) to train doctors and nurses not regularly working in intensive care units.
The society is currently planning research initiatives in AKI epidemiology.
Dr. Rosenberg will present a full outline of nephrology achievements in the Baltic region during the Raising-the-Curtain session.
